This new harvest tea is carefully grown at a small tea garden in Hoshino Village, Yame City.

“Roji Saibai” refers to a traditional open-air cultivation method in which the tea plants are grown without shading, allowing them to absorb plenty of natural sunlight.

Unlike Kabusecha or Gyokuro, which are shade-grown,
these tea leaves are cultivated under the full sun,
resulting in a pleasant astringency and a clean, refreshing finish.
